But, performing any sort
of email migration is never that easy, especially when you require
migrating from Lotus Notes to Office 365. Although there are
different manual & automatic approaches to migrate from Lotus
Notes data into Office 365 platform, but it also involves certain
complexities. The most common approach to transfer data is IMAP
methods. But it has its own limitations. </div>
<div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
IMAP method only
transfers the online data of Lotus Notes IMAP into Microsoft Office
365 cloud based platform. Adding to that, while using IMAP method,
one can just migrate email data up to 1 GB using IMAP connector tool.
In addition, it is also an expensive method. Thus, with so many
shortcomings, IMAP procedure turns out to be impractical. </div>

One must not forget is
the time factor that plays a crucial role in performing manual email
migration. In fact, the completion time will always be a key factor
as thousands of users had to be migrated. Even a simple task of
exchanging files to the cloud requires a proper planning as a slight
negligence can have detrimental effects on business. </div>
